EXFO Sells over 25000 FTB-200 Platforms

exfoEXFO Inc. announced today a major market milestone as it has sold over 25,000 units of its FTB-200 Compact Platform to over a thousand customers from all around the world, a testament to the ever-present need for high-end testing modules in small, portable formats.

Leveraging years of experience in field testing, EXFO introduced the FTB-200 Compact Platform several years ago as a means to help customers who needed to combine high-end technology into something more versatile that could easily be carried into metro and mesh networks by supertechnicians. EXFO was the first to bring a multilayer, multimedium approach to a truly portable format.

“Today, the FTB-200 Compact Platform continues to deliver the best performance on the market for optical, Ethernet, SONET/SDH and multiservice testing,” said Stéphane Chabot, Director of EXFO’s Optical Business Unit. “Thanks to its multiple functionalities, we allow our customers to increase their asset utilization and ROI, while reducing their overall costs.”

The FTB-200 Compact Platform is part of EXFO’s FTB Ecosystem, an innovative testing environment that combines a comprehensive range of connected testing platforms and productivity-boosting cloud-based software applications to help network operators accelerate network deployments and reduce operating expenses.
