Tribal Nova, the developers behind the award winning PBS KIDS PLAY! and CBC WONDERWORLD online learning programs have announced the launch of a new app in the “i Learn With” suite of early childhood education apps designed exclusively for iPad. The new i Learn With Boing: Savannah Adventures! App teaches young children many core math subjects such as number recognition, counting, ordering in ones and tens, adding and subtracting, with three highly engaging games, including one that encourages parent and child to play together. Telefilm Canada has presented its annual Golden Box Office Award to the director of Barney’s Version, Richard J. Lewis, and to the film’s scriptwriter, Michael Konyves, in a ceremony attended by producer Robert Lantos and actors Anna Hopkins, Clé Bennett and Howard Jerome.
