Ubisoft Reveals Assassin’s Creed III Specials

^[1]Ubisoft ^[1] and Sony Computer Entertainment ^[2] have announced a partnership to give gamers exclusive content for Assassin’s Creed III on PlayStation®3 and for Assassin’s Creed III Liberation ^[3] for PS Vita. SCE also will provide specially-priced bundles of each game for its systems.

This partnership provides PlayStation®3 gamers exclusive access to four downloadable single-player missions at the launch of Assassin’s Creed III. Along with these missions, gamers who purchase both Assassin’s Creed III for PlayStation® 3 and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation will receive exclusive unlockable items for Liberation, including an in-game version of Connor’s tomahawk, an exclusive character skin, a multiplayer character and a complete upgrade of all ammunition pouches.

In addition, Assassin’s Creed III will launch in a bundle with a PlayStation®3 and Assassin’s Creed III Liberation will be bundled with both Wi-Fi and 3G versions of PS Vita.

Gamers can pre-order Assassin’s Creed III from EB Games and receive a steel collector’s tin featuring art by comic book artist Alex Ross. Also included in the pre-order are the single player Mayan Ruins mission and Sawtooth Sword. The pre-order bonus tin is available for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions of the game, while supplies last.
