Finalé Post Production to Offer Technicolor “Color Certified” Services in Vancouver

finaleFinalé Post Production and Technicolor Creative Services have entered into a strategic partnership to provide Technicolor “Color Certified” Digital Intermediate (DI) Finishing services in Vancouver. Finalé Post Production will acquire and integrate Technicolor Vancouver’s existing DI Theatre into their newly expanded facility. The transaction includes exclusive certification for Technicolor’s leading color science, as well as ongoing servicing of its film, television and commercial projects finishing in Vancouver.

Finalé’s Editworks division will be re-launching a new Technicolor Color Certified DI Theatre in June 2012. The theatre will feature both Autodesk Lustre and Davinci Resolve grading systems, “Real-D” Stereoscopic 3D, and full access to Technicolor DI services including Digital Cinema Package (DCP) and film outs.Finalé Post Production will integrate Technicolor Vancouver’s existing DI Theatre into their newly expanded facility.

The company’s aim is to combine their creative talent, technical resources and experience in order to deliver the highest quality post-production services available to the Vancouver market.

In addition, Finalé Editworks has announced the hiring of key creative staff for its DI team:

  • Senior Colorists Claudio Sepulveda and Thor Roos
  • DI Manager/Editor James Cowan
  • Post Producer Jonas Young
