mDialog Appoints Chief Revenue Officer

mdialogmDialog™, a Toronto-based video stream management solutions provider for addressable and measurable TV commercial breaks on Internet connected devices, has announced that former CBS Executive Jeff Clark has been appointed Chief Revenue Officer.

“We are thrilled to have someone with Jeff’s experience and knowledge lead the charge from our new office in San Francisco,” said Greg Philpott, founder & CEO of mDialog. “Television broadcasters and operators need an experienced partner like mDialog to help them monetize their linear, live and on-demand content on streaming video devices. Jeff will play an instrumental role in helping a diverse ecosystem of operators, programmers, and infrastructure partners understand the power and scalability of mDialog’s solution.”

Clark has more than two decades of experience in the media and technology sectors. He comes to mDialog from CBS Interactive where he served as Vice President and General Manager of the Entertainment division. At CBS Interactive he was primarily responsible for the network’s flagship property, CBS.com, and the distribution and management of all online ad-supported video. Prior to CBS, Clark had senior management experience with Yahoo! and successful start-ups including Dotspotter (sold: CBS) and Videosurf (sold: MSFT XBOX).

In his role as Chief Revenue Officer, Clark will be responsible for mDialog’s expanding customer base including global sales, marketing, and business development. In addition, Clark will oversee the opening of the rapidly growing company’s US headquarters in San Francisco.

“People are consuming more video on more devices every day” said Clark. “mDIalog’s stream management platform is the most comprehensive suite of services that enable TV Everywhere ad experiences across all IP-connected devices. I’m excited to open our US Headquarters as we aggressively expand our presence in the premium video monetization market.”

The mDialog™ Smart Stream™ Video Platform enables content and service providers to use their existing ad ops workflow to monetize content with a TV quality ad experience across linear, live and on-demand video (both short and long form) on Internet connected devices. It supports the widest range of connected devices in the market including iPad, iPhone, Apple TV, Android smartphones and tablets, Google TV, Roku, Xbox and Smart TVs.
