GiveawayNow.com, the social media tool that offers companies additional exposure on Twitter and Facebook through giveaways, has officially launched its site, just in time for Mother’s Day with giveaways that include eReader Tablets, Jewelry and Ancestry.com subscription giveaways.
GiveawayNow.com showcases new products on behalf of businesses and later gives them away through Facebook and Twitter allowing consumers to win great products and at the same time giving companies free social media exposure.
“Social media exposure is a must for any market strategy today,” said Scott Ledingham co-founder of GiveawayNow.com. “Tweets and Facebook comments are becoming very valuable for businesses and we’re offering a way for businesses to maximize exposure for free and for them to pick up new followers and fans who may become future paying customers.”
In order to become eligible to win the prizes, participants must ‘follow’ company profiles on Twitter and “retweet” a pre-written tweet about the product and company that creates a viral spread and increases their following. GiveawayNow also posts giveaway updates to Facebook where users can ‘like’ and comment to become eligible to win. GiveawayNow also promotes all giveaways on its Twitter account which currently has 17,000 followers. This generates extra exposure for participating companies.
Companies offer up a product or service as a giveaway and their products are featured on the GiveawayNow.com homepage with a write-up, a picture and/or demo video/commercial and a link to the company website. There is no fee for participating companies, they are simply asked to mail their product directly to each Giveaway winner.
