An emotional and stirring account of the Allied journey from the D-Day invasion of Normandy to the siege of Berlin, D-Day to Victory Interactive features poignant interviews with the men who were there. First-person accounts of the horrors of war are provided via video interviews with surviving veterans alongside bios, photos, newspaper clippings and other relevant artifacts. Innovative 3D scenes take users into the heart of the battle, through the use of video interviews, archival materials, original footage and recreations of the effects of wartime weaponry, including mines, tanks and shells.

“D-Day to Victory Interactive is a project that is very close to our hearts and an important and meaningful extension to the D-Day to Victory series, which has been viewed by millions around the world,” said James Milward, Executive Producer, Secret Location.

The technical and creative excellence of D-Day to Victory Interactive has not escaped notice. The site was recently given an award of merit by The Art Directors Club, an FWA Site of the Day and was named a Webby Award “honoree.” The site has also been shortlisted for a 2012 Banff World Media Awards and was featured in Design Edge Canada and .net Magazine, among other publications.

D-Day to Victory Interactive was produced with the participation of the Bell Broadcast and New Media Fund, History Television Canada, The Historica-Dominion Institute, Entertainment One and Impossible Pictures. The TV series was produced by Entertainment One and Impossible Pictures for History Television.
