The 4 Little Pigs is changing the way parents are teaching their children about money.  The publishing company’s momentum is building with the release of the award winning book “The 4 Little Pigs” – a financial values book for children – on iTunes.  The innovative new digital release will help children become aware of the different ways that money can be used through a simple and engaging story.  The book has already been honoured by receiving a Moonbeam Children’s Book Award and a Mom’s Choice Award.

With a lack of resources available to teach children financial responsibility from a young age, Jeanette Ramnarine – mom, educator and award winning author – saw a niche market and wrote “The 4 Little Pigs” to share the story of how her son Caleb learned different ways that money can be used with four special piggy banks named Spending, Saving, Sharing and Schooling.

To meet consumer demand, the 4 Piggies Financial Kit for Kids was created to include the book with the four piggy banks and the company is expanding into the digital world with the release of the book on itunes which can be downloaded for ipad, iphone or ipod touch.

Ramnarine hopes that this new digital version of her award winning book will appeal to parents who are raising children in a computerized world and already introducing children to books through the use of ipads and other digital technology. The newest version of “The 4 Little Pigs” on itunes does just that and will appeal to children who are already using tools such as ipads, iphones and ipods on a daily basis.
