CrowdWave Expands Network

crowdwave [1]Ottawa’s CrowdWave [2], a division of Vision Interactive Technologies Inc., is pleased to announce that it has launched several new installations and partnerships over the past few weeks. On April 2, CrowdWave entertained and engaged over 70,000 fans at the NCAA Men’s Basketball Final Four Championships at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

CrowdWave’s patent-pending “Vision Interactive™” digital video game technology has also recently been installed at Scotiabank Place, home of the Ottawa Senators [3], and the Pepsi Centre in Denver, which is home to both the NBA’s Denver Nuggets and the NHL’s Colorado Avalanche. The CrowdWave mass-interactive casual game platform literally enables fans to “Get in the Game”, simply by moving their arms, to play a motion-activated sports-themed video game live and in-venue on the scoreboard video screens.

According to Mark Edwards, President of CrowdWave, the new installations are a natural step for the company, building on the success of its mass-interactive platform in a number of other professional and collegiate sports venues over the past two seasons. “We’re excited at how well the CrowdWave mass-interactive game platform has been received by our NCAA, NHL and NBA clients, fans, and sponsors.”
