OMERS Ventures [3] CEO John Ruffolo and Vanedge Capital [4] Managing Partner Paul Lee have been appointed Co-Chairs of the Canadian Innovation Exchange, joining Chris Arsenault, Rick Nathan and Robert Montgomery as CIX continues to develop into a truly national community. Ruffolo and Lee are champions of innovation in Canada and as overseers of large venture capital funds are dedicated to supporting emerging technology companies.

After an illustrious career with the Canadian government as a key advocate for the innovation economy, CIX is pleased to announce that Sunil Sharma, Managing Director and Chief Connector of Extreme Startups [5] will assume the role of Chief Evangelist for CIX. Sunil will be working with key players from Canada and around the world, enabling CIX to surface more hot companies and optimize its role in facilitating new relationships and transactions.
