TELUS And Vox Mobile Launch Managed Mobility Services For Canadian Enterprises

telusTELUS and US-based Vox Mobile have announced the launch of a unique suite of end-to-end Managed Mobility Services (MMS), the only such offering from a leading Canadian wireless carrier, designed specifically for the complex needs of Canadian enterprises. TELUS Managed Mobility Services powered by Vox Mobile is a complete service offering that manages an enterprise’s mobile infrastructure and devices from procurement to payment, leveraging a growing trend in enterprises to adopt “Bring your Own Device” (BYOD) policies which offer more mobile device choice.

“Mobile device management software has now made it possible to sync new mobile devices across multiple platforms, but there’s so much more to consider than just synchronizing email,” said Tony Krueck, vice-president of Business Products & Services at TELUS. “With the flood of new smartphones, tablets, and mobile applications, enterprises are struggling to understand how to support, secure, and enable these devices. Now, enterprise customers will have more mobile device choice, increasing the satisfaction and productivity of their mobile users while offloading the IT burden and security risks.”

TELUS Managed Mobility Services, powered by Vox Mobile, offers enterprises a series of six individual yet integrated service modules, providing an end-to-end service option for managing wireless devices on multiple platforms, from multiple carriers. With this offering, Canadian enterprises can expect a needs assessment and mobility roadmap, as well as options for implementation, ongoing management and analysis of their mobile solution.

“We’re excited about the opportunity to work with TELUS to deliver on their vision of the Future Friendly Enterprise as it relates to mobility,” said Kris Snyder, CEO of Vox Mobile. We’re confident that TELUS’ national relationships and managed services experience coupled with Vox Mobile’s end-to-end mobile expertise will be a great fit for enterprises in Canada.”

TELUS and Vox Mobile have also received positive feedback from prominent industry analyst IDC Canada. “Enterprise mobility’s importance is growing rapidly, and the complexity is daunting for many large organizations. TELUS and Vox Mobile together offer a well thought-out suite of services and support to help Canadian businesses tackle this strategic element of IT management,” said Tony Olvet, group vice-president of research at IDC Canada.

As part of the TELUS Future Friendly Enterprise, TELUS offers mobile communications solutions to more than 1,600 enterprises across Canada. Medium and large enterprises doing business with TELUS can count on a large business team dedicated to meeting their organizations’ needs 24/7, a state-of-the-art 4G LTE network in major urban centres, Clear and Simple rate plans, and customized solutions which now include Managed Mobility Services that enable them to work anywhere, anytime, on any device.
