Ian Watson Joins DTM Systems Corporation

dtm systemsVancouver’s DTM Systems Corporation is pleased to announce the appointment of Ian Watson to Vice President, Cloud Technology Services. With over 25 years’ experience Ian has been selling, designing and deploying enterprise solutions in the private and public sectors. During this time he has worked in a variety of industries including the B.C. Government, the financial industry, systems integrators and partners, and more recently both at Microsoft and VMware.

Ian’s history with DTM dates back to 1996 when he was employed with DTM as a Senior Security and Network Consultant. For 10 years Ian contributed to the growth of DTM as a senior member of the Professional Services Organization. His activities in this capacity ranged from the tactical application of his substantial knowledge of networking and security technologies to the strategic development of new business involving managed services.

Ian’s background as a security and infrastructure architect, combined with a strong focus on sales and strategic business execution over the years found him the ideal candidate to take the lead with DTM’s focus on Cloud Technology Services.

“Ian’s strengths are in taking an objective and pragmatic approach to solutions architecture using the appropriate technology solutions to enable companies to fulfill their business goals,” says CEO and President Paul Martin, he adds “this is the type of welcome addition we look forward to as we progress forward in 2012 and focus on the new solutions we can provide our clients with the Cloud options out there.”

Recently DTM Systems created a one of a kind facility to demonstrate the latest in technology for the new epoch of data centers – Private, Public and Hybrid Cloud Solutions. This state of the art facility allows for the hands-on demonstration of Cloud enabled technologies for Security, Networking, Storage, Data Management, Unified Communication, Virtualization, Blade Systems, Client Devices, and I.T. Management.
