Canada’s Most Competitive People Play Scrabble For Literacy

frontier collegeWithout a doubt, the most competitive street in the country is Toronto’s Bay Street.   On February 29th, it’ll be lawyer against lawyer; broker against broker; banker against banker as teams compete for the highest Scrabble score to raise money for literacy. This year’s SCRABBLE® Corporate Challenge is on target to be a record breaker for Frontier College with more teams (60), a bigger venue (Sony Centre), and a goal to raise over $350,000 for Frontier College’s literacy programs.

Presenting Sponsor TMX Group is again leading the charge of companies that each donate to compete.  “2012 marks the eighth year that TMX Group has proudly supported the SCRABBLE® Corporate Challenge,” said Tom Kloet, CEO, TMX Group.  “We are pleased to see a record number of organizations join us and come together to raise funds for literacy for the work of Frontier College.”

TMX Group will be recognized for its ongoing support of Frontier College with the presentation of the Fitzpatrick Award, named in honour of the founder of Frontier College, Alfred Fitzpatrick. The Scrabble Corporate Challenge will be held at Sony Centre on February 29th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
