Canadian University President Delegation Review ClevrU with India Government

clevrUCanadian and India university presidents have reviewed Waterloo-based ClevrU as a solution to India’s problems with massive need for students access to quality schools. ClevrU is a cloud based, intelligent mobile platform that can be quickly adopted by 450 million students looking for access to high quality, affordable education.

“The ability to address 1 billion students with an inexpensive platform on a mobile device they already own is the only way India will deliver quality education to 400 million students quickly without incredible expense.” said Dana Fox, President and CEO of ClevrU Corporation. “We have the ability to deliver intelligent e-teaching sessions in multiple languages and respect the culture of each student.” “India struggles with the explosive number of students demanding high quality education. ClevrU satisfies the demand with an e-teaching platform that mirrors the very best teaching practices. There is nothing else like it in the world.”

ClevrU is focused on WEB 3.0 applications that intelligently leverage Cloud Computing in a mobile environment. ClevrU’s e-teaching application uses its mobile intelligent and adaptive platform to initially serve the international education market. ClevrU’s technology combines video e-teaching with a semantic based intelligent social network platform for educational institutions universities and colleges, cellular phone/ tablet computer manufacturers and cellular carriers to deliver course content to students anywhere, anytime. The product is branded ClevrU EDU and registered a patent pending on its Intelligent Collaborative Platform Technology.

ClevrU is initially developing opportunities in the education sector in fast developing markets, like China. ClevrU will deliver online education in rapidly expanding markets where there is explosive demand for quality education and a lack of infrastructure to deliver customized learning using ClevrU’s adaptive, intelligent and mobile cloud based platform.

To this end, ClevrU Corporation was also introduced to the Information Service Industry Association (ISIA) Republic of China at the recent Cloud Computing Road Show held in Taipei Taiwan, partly organized by the Government of Canada. ISIA supported by the Taiwanese government, represents all manufacturers of hardware in Taiwan.

“ClevrU was able to deliver real value to the association as it looks for ways to create additional revenue from intelligent services from the cloud.” said Dana Fox, CEO and President of ClevrU Corporation. Fox went on to say that,”ClevrU can blend the power of user intelligence with the real world demands of any mobile user on the planet. Our technology adapts to any device, operating system and bandwidth and optimizes this experience to over one billion users at a time with a form of of mobile intelligence that expands to 14 vertical markets starting with education.”

ClevrU has also expanded its Board of Directors to four, with the addition of John Doolittle.

“ClevrU welcomes the addition of John Doolittle to our Board of Directors.” said Dana Fox, CEO and President of ClevrU Corporation. ”John Doolittle has been active with Nortel Networks Board of Directors for the last 3 years on the global stage. ClevrU is an on demand, customized e-teaching solution that gathers information from the cloud and delivers it to billions of users simultaneously.” Fox went on to add that. “John Doolittle’s deep experience and network of legal and financial partners, working with over 50 subsidiaries around the world will accelerate ClevrU’s ability to rapidly expand and operate profitably. ClevrU is building a team with the collective experience of two of the most recognized technology companies Canada has seen in the last 100 years – Nortel Networks and Research in Motion.”

Further, as a result of making a winning pitch at the Canada 3.0 conference in May 2011 in Stratford Ontario, ClevrU Corporation participated in the Banff Venture Forum with a powerful combination of funders and startups from across Canada.

“ClevrU Corporation joined 100’s of start ups and funders from across Canada at the Banff Venture Forum.” said Dana Fox, President and CEO of ClevrU Corporation. “It was a great opportunity to discuss strategy with over 40 early stage companies over two days making presentations. Canada 3.0 has been incredibly generous in their support of the start up community.”
