Visit Ancient Aztecs Tonight On Museum Secrets

museum secretsTonight’s episode of Museum Secrets will take viewers into the brutal world of the Aztec nation during a tour of Mexico’s National Museum of Anthropology in Mexico City. One of the most popular tourist attractions in the country, the Museum welcomes over 2 million visitors each year who want to learn about Mexico from its earliest civilizations to the Spanish conquest. In this episode, viewers will be introduced to a chemical engineer and some Mexican athletes who will help them discover whether or not the rubber ball used on the ancient Mayan playing field contained a human skull. Next, go diving into a watery cave to discover the Mayan path to the afterlife, and then investigate the truth behind the power of the crystal skulls to reveal secrets of the dead.
