Quebec’s EXFO Inc. has announced that the company will be participating at GSMA Mobile World Congress 2012 this  February 27^th through March 1^st in Barcelona, Spain. Visitors at booth 1G55 (Hall 1) will discover EXFO’s unique mobile network solution, covering the complete network lifecycle, from R&D and deployment, to monitoring and troubleshooting. Products on display will include the full range of analysis and monitoring solutions for 2G/3G/LTE networks, as well as EXFO’s advanced handheld field-testing solutions.

As mobile communications are moving towards a converged IP transport network and leading to the deployment of Carrier Ethernet in the backhaul, the introduction of LTE technology and the transition from circuit-switched to packet-based services are generating key challenges for industry stakeholders. In fact, there is continuous pressure to minimize the time to market for new services, reduce network OPEX, and provide subscribers with ubiquitous coverage, high availability and flawless quality of experience (QoE).

At this year’s edition of GSMA Mobile World Congress, EXFO will demonstrate how its comprehensive mobile network assessment solution addresses critical challenges, from the physical layer all the way to the application layer. Showcased EXFO products will include the Backhaul Tri-Pak, an all-in-one Ethernet, fiber and connector assessment solution that enables complete Ethernet service turn-up in 15 minutes, the BrixHawk Distributed Analyzer, designed for determining subscriber QoE in order to reduce customer churn, as well as the BrixNGN service assurance solution, which enables network performance optimization, bringing unprecedented scalability for both operational and capital cost reduction.
