LegoMan In Space Creators Presented With New Canon Cameras

canon [1]Canon Canada [1] congratulated Toronto teens Mathew Ho and Asad Muhammad by presenting them with new cameras over the weekend. The teens’ remarkable feat saw a Lego passenger carried 80,000 feet above the Earth via a weather balloon. Using two Canon cameras that were programmed to take photos every 20 seconds, the teens were able to document the entire journey with incredible images. The teens have opened a web site [3] documenting Legoman’s voyage into near space, and will be updating the site with video and images documenting the little brick citizen’s pre-launch activities, his ascent into the atmosphere and recovery of the amazing images he captured along the way. You can also find Legoman on Facebook [4] and Twitter [5]. Mathew and Asad were inspired by MIT researchers and their project has drawn attention from news agencies around the world.
