TFOThe strategic shift that Groupe Média TFO began nearly a year ago continues today with the launch of its new website. This launch is an integral part of TFO’s rebranding on the air, on the Web, and on all the other media platforms on which it delivers content.

With over 4000 videos for children, youth, and the general public, as well as dozens of games and contests and a wide choice of exclusive Web content, this new site stands out for the wealth of relevant content that it offers, as well as for the inherent educational value of all TFO offerings.

As Glenn O’Farrell, the Group’s President and CEO explains, “Groupe Média TFO has carved out a choice position in the market for interactive media aimed at the general public. We have a rich inventory of stimulating content and are adding to it constantly to remain relevant to our audience. This market is highly competitive, and TFO has to differentiate itself.

By making TFO’s products more accessible and offering exciting new functionalities, this new site lets users enjoy a personalized experience that better suits the way they consume online media, now and in future.

Marie Masse, TFO’s Managing Director for Web/TV Content, describes the site this way: “The tfo.org site is one of the main portals for accessing all of our content, so it was critical for us to offer users a highly accessible platform that engages them and lets them learn and be entertained intelligently. Our design objective was a clean, user-friendly site that is easy to navigate, compatible with mobile platforms, and open to social media.”

Groupe Média TFO’s new brand image was developed with the help of Lowe Roche, a Toronto-based creative marketing and advertising design agency. The new tfo.org website was produced entirely by the TFO team.

TFO’s new brand image will be the subject of a large part of the edition of TFO’s flagship public-affairs program Relief that will be broadcasted on the air and on the Web at 7 pm on January 30. A launch event will be held in Ottawa on the evening of January 31, and Relief will also cover it in detail.
