Distribution360 Sells Lifestyle Series to Sky Living It in the UK and Studio U7 in Russia

distribution360Distribution360 announced yesterday that it has finalized sales for two of its lifestyle series.  Studio U7 has acquired the television rights to White Iron Picture’s Puppy SOS and Wraith Films’ Ghostly Encounters for distribution to select territories: Russia, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and the Baltics. In addition, Puppy SOS has been licensed by Sky Living It (part of BSkyB) in the UK.

Puppy SOS – A cute puppy can be the perfect family addition. What’s not to love? Her fluffy fur and soul-stirring eyes are just too cute. Five months later, the honeymoon is over…way over, and the novelty of the new puppy has worn off. In her place is a hairy little monster that bites, pees everywhere and chews on all the furniture, creating tension within the family. It’s time to bring in Brad Pattison, a dog behaviourist and life coach, who is widely known for his tough love techniques and crazy antics. He’s the consummate dog lover and ultimate trainer—firm but gentle. In this fast-paced series, monster mutts are transformed into darling dogs, all while restoring peace within the family. Produced by White Iron Pictures.

Ghostly Encounters – Paranormal experiences aren’t just the domain of psychics and tarot card readers – in fact, many ordinary people believe they have experienced supernatural encounters. This series looks into those incidents and the regular folks-next-door who had them, and takes the viewer on a chilling ride through a fascinating, highly personal ghost story. There is no question that many people believe they have experienced otherworldly incidents, and Ghostly Encounters approaches each event not asking if it happened, but why it happened. Produced by Wraith Films Inc.

“There continues to be an international appetite for quality Canadian-produced lifestyle series,” says Kirsten Hurd, Senior Sales Executive, Distribution360. “Puppy SOS and Ghostly Encounters have been very successful here in Canada, and we’re looking forward to continue sharing these entertaining shows with broadcasters and viewers internationally.”

Distribution360’s Vivian Miranda heads to NATPE next week and Matt Hornburg to History Makers International and the Reelscreen Summit later this month.
