RocketOwl Releases Eco-Conscious Social Game GreenSpace

rocketowlOttawa based game developer RocketOwl Inc. has announced the full release of social game GreenSpace. The game is currently available for free on Facebook, with upcoming launches on Android and Apple’s iOS platforms (iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch). “With GreenSpace, we set out to bring the best of competitive play to audiences around the world in a fun and social way,” said Graeme Barlow, CEO. “We want to provide a meaningful experience to all of our players through gaming,” added Barlow.

RocketOwl’s GreenSpace is a high-quality, interactive social game that combines continuous simulation play Greenspace Worldwith fast-paced mini games. Sophisticated graphics and an engaging storyline make it the ultimate game for both frequent and casual gamers.

Set in the distant future, GreenSpace presents a world full of exploration and discovery, where players cleanup long forgotten trash heaps and junk piles to unlock a beautiful, green utopia. Rewarding tasks such as cleaning garbage and building renewable energy resources gives players a sense of accomplishment as they move through the game. The most notable features in GreenSpace are the incredible art and animation, the addictive cleaning actions and customization of the surrounding environment.

GreenSpace was released to the public in beta on August 1st, 2011. “We’ve been working with players over the past few months to fine-tune the game,” said Barlow. “Now that GreenSpace is coming out of beta, the entire team is really excited to see the public reception of the launch. We could not be happier with the final product and hope that you enjoy playing it as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together.”
