Opincity Smartphone App Now On Android

opincityOpinCity is expanding its offerings in the Canadian smartphone application arena. Launching first on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch, on the iTunes App Store, Pure and Noble Inc.’s first smartphone application, OpinCity, is offering more Canadian’s the opportunity to use the free service by expanding to the Android Market. With one third of Canada using smartphones (and rapid tablet computer adoption), this is another step in the right direction, allowing even more Canadians use of the free location based service. Functionality remains the same on the Android version whether on a smartphone or a tablet: Locals use the app to discover what other local experts are saying about their city; Hidden gems, things to try, businesses to visit, and discounts and deals from local businesses.

“OpinCity allows locals to discover useful things going on around them, wherever they happen to be. We want everyone to enjoy that service. No one should be excluded based on the software platform they’ve chosen to use. We’ve been working non-stop to make this available on new devices.” Says Ed Wei, Chief Executive Officer at Pure and Noble Inc.
