Today’s national press conference in New York City is the official launch of the of five TOTY ballots, one each for Consumers, Retailers (mass and specialty), Media, and TIA members, which will be weighted and used to determine the TOTY 2012 winners. The Consumer Voting Website is now live.Perplexus Original, Epic and Rookie

Perplexus from PlaSmart Inc. is the world’s first 3-dimensional marble maze game. Players manoeuvre a small marble around challenging barriers inside a large-sized transparent sphere. Unlike traditional flat-surface mazes that are composed of one path, Perplexus challenges players like no maze has before with numerous paths to choose from and dozens of barriers to overcome offering hours of entertainment and fun. In addition to being an entertaining game, Perplexus is a great tool for cognitive development, encouraging children to exercise their problem-solving, motor and dexterity skills, as well as improving their hand-eye coordination.

There are three Perplexus models, each with a varying degree of difficulty. Perplexus Original with 100 barriers to overcome was launched in 2010. Perplexus Epic, the most challenging Perplexus yet with 125 barriers to overcome launched in 2011. Perplexus Rookie, which also launched in 2011, is for ages 4 to 104 and has 70 barriers to overcome.
