WiseAnalytics Launches Online Community Targeting Business Intelligence Needs of SMBs

wise analyticsA new online community targeting the business intelligence (BI) needs of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) was launched today providing organizations a centralized access point to gain insights, share expertise, and have access to advisory services and events specifically targeted to this rapidly growing marketplace. The new community was formed by Lyndsay Wise, founder and principal with WiseAnalytics, which provides advisory services and targeted research to small and mid-sized organizations looking to implement business intelligence solutions, data warehouses, dashboards or analytics.

The new community aims to be the catalyst to change in the industry by creating a grassroots approach to research and advisory services, by combining it with social media and involvement from SMBs. In the coming months, subscribers will see interactive online events, community-driven research, discussions, a break down of the business intelligence industry, as well as implications of adoption. As time goes on, community involvement will drive the research initiatives and content provided on the site.

“Lyndsay has focused her business intelligence consultancy on the educational, training and deployment needs of SMB organizations, a marketplace that is growing very rapidly,” said Shawn Rogers, Vice President of Research, Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing, Enterprise Management Associates. “I applaud her efforts to consolidate these much needed and sought after resources under one umbrella and look forward to watching its developments.”

“One of the main goals of the community is to create a centralized access point for information, advice, and collaboration for SMBs implementing or managing their business intelligence environments,” said Wise. “Since developer portals and other technical resources abound, this community is targeted towards business users at all levels who are looking for ways to optimize how they interact with technology to make more informed decisions.”
