Canadian War Museum to Webcast Illumination In Memorial Hall

Canadian War MuseumThe Canadian War Museum invites all Canadians to participate in one of the most moving Remembrance Day ceremonies in Canada. On November 11 at exactly 11 a.m. EST, sunlight shines through a single window to illuminate the headstone of Canada’s Unknown Soldier. For the first time ever, this event will be webcast on the War Museum website, allowing Canadians to experience it from anywhere in the country.

Anyone wishing to see the event should visit the Remember web page starting at 10:45 a.m. EST. The illumination will also be webcast on screens within the Museum.
