Allstream Partners With Cisco For Integrated IP Service

mts-allstreamAllstream continues to be a Canadian leader in Internet Protocol (IP) communications with the launch of Integrated Service Management (ISM) – a fully managed, end-to-end voice and data infrastructure for connectivity, IP Telephony, and other Cisco Unified Communications (UC) applications.

Using Cisco’s Call Manager, IP PBX, Allstream offers its Managed Business IP services in combination with its Managed UC services, making Allstream the first national network provider to bring this seamlessly integrated service to market.

“ISM is about giving customers what they want – an integrated service that will increase the efficiency of their IT operations,” said Dean Prevost, President, Allstream. “Allstream’s new service is designed and built to operate UC and IP network solutions together, simplifying the customer experience”

Allstream is the single and only point of contact for the customer, for both MPLS connectivity and UC components, and provides 24/7 network monitoring, saving the customer money on in-house tech support and reducing downtime. ISM is also interoperable and flexible, allowing for adjustments in bandwidth, prioritization of voice and data traffic, infrastructure upgrades and the implementation of new applications.

“We congratulate Allstream on the launch of its ISM service. Allstream’s investment in Cisco’s Master Managed Services  Certification ranks Allstream among an elite group of channel partners who have the resources to deploy, manage and support services for multiple technologies,” said Mike Ansley, Vice President, Partner Organization, Cisco Canada.

As a certified Cisco Managed Services Master Partner, Allstream’s has been authorized to sell and deliver Cisco-based managed services via Cisco’s ISRG2 product line, while receiving Cisco’s support through enhanced management and shared best practices.
