Language Industry Conference In Gatineau This Week
The Language Industry Association (AILIA) will be hosting the Canadian Language Industry Showcase 2011 on November 3rd and 4th at the Holiday Inn Plaza La Chaudiere in Gatineau. The theme for Showcase 2011 is “The Language Industry: Looking Ahead”. AILIA’s Annual General Meeting will take place as part of Friday’s schedule of activities.
Showcase 2011 is an excellent opportunity to network and update your knowledge on the latest trends and developments, best practices, current and future issues and solutions particular to the language industry. The program, designed to include plenary and concurrent sessions, will be featuring a 3-track format with sessions tailored to Translation, Language Technologies and Language Training. A very important component of Showcase 2011 is the exhibition of the latest products and services from world-class companies serving the language industry.
