Sour Candy Characters Infiltrating Game Platforms

Local developer Tim Lewinson has been able to go public about the project he has been working on for Beefy Media. We can now consider ourselves forewarned that the Sour Patch Candy Kids will be coming to consoles in the way of a game called World Gone Sour. There are not many details available as of yet, other than a Facebook page that promises “more details soon.”  To announce their new title, Sour Patch Kids teamed up with popular rapster Method Man for a fun music video:

I also found out that Other Ocean has created a Sour Patch Kids game title for iOS devices. It has been in the iTunes Other Ocean InteractiveApp Store since September 20th. Sour Fling is a free download that invites gamers to help the Sour Patch Kids collect and find their missing friends by flinging, sticking and floating around the candy factory. In this mobile title, you will get the chance to help the Sour Patch Kids get to the factory exits while collecting their friends. Make sure to avoid the dreaded sour flingGum Monster, the Light Bulb of death, the scary moving electrical platform, and even the infamous juicy lake of doom.

Sour Fling is rated 12+ for Frequent/Intense Profanity or Crude Humor and Frequent/Intense Cartoon or Fantasy Violence. If you own an iPhone 3GS or iPhone 4, iPod touch (3rd or 4th generation) or iPad device running iOS 3.1 or later you can play Sour Fling. My iPod Touch is 2nd generation, so sadly,  I am not able to play it.
