Contac Wins 2011 CAMSC CATA Innovation Through Technology Award

contacEnd to end data driven communication and supply chain solutions provider Contac Services Inc. is the recipient of the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council (CAMSC) 2011 CATA Innovation Through Technology Award recently presented at the CAMSC Annual Business Achievement Awards Gala held at Toronto’s Royal York Hotel. This prestigious award is presented to an Aboriginal or Minority-owned business for demonstrating innovation in a technology-based product or service. Contac has invested heavily in recent years to create world-class supply-chain solutions by way of its Web Store Front Procurement Platforms.  These custom branded web sites are being deployed by small, medium and large scale enterprises throughout Canada and soon on a North America and Global basis.

Contac counts companies like Grand & Toy, Ernst & Young, M&M Meat Shops and Ramada Canada to name just a few who have deployed these innovative Web Store Fronts allowing customers, franchisees and employees a secure and easy way to streamline their supply chain management operations. Head Offices are better able to maintain brand consistency and reduce their overall marketing and distribution costs.  It’s a win for all constituents including the environment.  For all of these compelling reasons, Contac is grateful to accept the 2011 CATA Innovation Through Technology Award.

Under his strategic leadership, Riaz Pisani, CEO of Contac Services, has grown the company from a small entrepreneurial business to an industry leader now boasting alliances across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Riaz has carefully guided the business toward cultivating partnerships and strong relationships with its clients and vendors, alike. “We are honoured to receive the 2011 CATA Innovation Through Technology Award this year,” says Pisani, “Contac is a business that operates on the principle that clarity of purpose and foresight will allow us to grow organically and successfully. We listen to our partners, clients and vendors, and we strive to find ground-breaking solutions that will be profitable for each of us.”

Contac is also revolutionizing how the travel industry will conduct business now and well into the future. By pushing the boundaries of mass personalization with its ground-breaking mywurld platform, tour operators, travel retailers, airlines and others for the first time can dialogue directly with their customers through Contac’s content-rich, uniquely personalized web-based travel itineraries.  Contac’s travel agent desktop portal known as e-Contac, enables agents to seamlessly order travel brochures, earn additional income and efficiently order printed materials leading to greater profitability and enhanced agent productivity.  All of Contac’s lines of business are supported vertically by its print and distribution infrastructure with facilities strategically located in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
