Registration Opens For Privacy and Security Conference

Produced by Victoria’s Reboot Communications, the 13th Annual Privacy and Security Conference will take place at the Victoria Conference Centre next February 15th through 17th. The conference is recognized as one of the top tier events in North America, and anyone working in the information privacy and security fields will benefit from the speakers, discussions and networking at the conference. Attendees from every level both within government and private industry with an interest in cutting edge policy, programs, law, research and technologies aimed at the protection of privacy and security will find topics of interest to them.

Daniel Solove, George Washington University Law School and Paul Schwartz, University of California, Berkeley – School of Law are confirmed to be jointly presenting a keynote address on The PII Problem: Privacy and a New Concept of Personally Identifiable Information.

Sessions at the 2012 conference will include: Cyber Security, Identity Management, Mobile Spying, Cloud Security, Surveillance, Big Data, Facial Recognition, Anti-Spam Legislation, Privacy at Work. As an added bonus, this conference qualifies for CPE credits for most professional associations (e.g.. IAPP, (ISC)2, CAPAPA and ISACA) including The Law Societies of British Columbia, Saskatchewan, New Brunswick and Upper Canada. However, please note that this program is not accredited for professionalism hours or for the New Member requirement.
