QuickMobile Develops App for Kokanee Crankworx Bike Festival

quickmobileSpectators of the 2011 Kokanee Crankworx Freeride Mountain Bike Festival (at press time, the Festival’s website was not loading), the world renowned supercharged free ride festival taking place in Whistler this July 15th through 24th will be benefiting from a new mobile event app for smartphones. The new app will Crankworxgive spectators access to important festival information like event schedules, updated results, area maps and venue information.

Developed by QuickMobile for iPhone and Android users, the Kokanee Crankworx 2011 Mobile Festival App was specifically designed to improve the experience of the festival spectator The app features links to social media channels, sponsors, photo galleries as well as other useful functionality such as personalized itineraries and updates on festival results. For all other smartphone users there is a mobile website that provides access to many of the same features as the mobile app.
David Snell, QuickMobile’s Chief Marketing Officer stated: “We are very excited to have been chosen to develop the Mobile Festival App for Kokanee Crankworx this year. Included in the Kokanee Crankworx Mobile Festival App are features such as “My Schedule”, “Social Hub”, “Polling“ and “Game On”, a fully interactive game complete with leaderboard and daily prizes. The app offers a high degree of personalization, interactivity and fun while providing great opportunities to engage, captivate and interact with festival-goers before, during and after the event.
