Teletoon Gets Spooky With Scooby

teletoonScooby, Shaggy and the gang bring a dose of mystery to the TELETOON schedule in the highly anticipated premiere of the brand new live-action movie Scooby-Doo: Curse of the Lake Monster on Saturday, October 30 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Leading up to the film premiere, TELETOON will broadcast a nightly lineup of spooky Scooby-Doo specials and other Halloween programming from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET/PT every weeknight starting on October 18. Viewers can also catch special Halloween programming Saturdays starting at 4 p.m. ET/PT and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET/PT throughout this period.

Scooby Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster is an all-new, live-action sequel to the 2009 smash hit Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins. The film follows Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy and Scooby-Doo to their summer jobs at a country club owned by Daphne’s uncle. While there, the Mystery Inc. scooby doogang stumbles upon some strange happenings around the local lake – including mystical moonstones, creepy characters and a Frog Monster on the loose. Viewers can catch the action a second time during an encore presentation of the film on Sunday, October 31 at 9 a.m. ET/PT and 12 p.m. ET/PT.

Continuing on the spooky Scooby theme, the brand new animated feature Scooby Doo! Abracadabra-Doo has its TELETOON premiere on Saturday, October 23 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Scooby-Doo and the gang go on a trip to visit Daphne’s sister, Madelyn. She has been studying magic at the Whirlen Merlin Magic Academy, where sightings of a giant dragon have been scaring all the students away. The gang smells trouble and sets out to investigate. Encore presentations of the film will be broadcast on Sunday, October 24 at 9 a.m. ET/PT and Thursday, October 28 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

Scooby-Doo and the Alien Invaders (Encore Presentation)

Stranded in a remote desert town, Scooby, Shaggy and the Mystery, Inc. kids soon discover a plethora of flying saucer buffs, secretive scientists and less-than-friendly extraterrestrials. But after aliens chase and beam them aboard a UFO, something even weirder happens to Shaggy and Scooby: they each fall in love – Shaggy with a nature photographer and Scooby with the photographer’s dog. As clues to the mystery of the alien invaders lead them from a top-secret government research base to a huge network of caves hidden under the town, the gang races to crack the case.

Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase (Encore Presentation)
Monday, October 18 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT
Scooby-Doo and the gang encounter their most electrifying adventure after they get zapped into a high-tech computer game. When Scooby-Doo, Shaggy and their friends try to capture the Phantom Virus, they accidentally become transported into a video game based on their own Mystery, Inc. adventures. While pursuing the dastardly Phantom Virus through the game’s 10 outrageous levels, the crime fighters travel from the prehistoric past to the space-age future and even tangle with a hair-raising horde of virtual villains from their most famous capers.

Scooby-Doo tries to hit the big time in Hollywood by landing his own primetime television series.

Wednesday, October 20

Aloha, Scooby-Doo! (Encore Presentation)
Wednesday, October 20 at 6 p.m. ET/PT
The Mystery Inc. crew heads to Hawaii for a big surfing contest that is disrupted by the rumblings of a nearby volcano and the disappearance of one of the surfers. Scooby-Doo and company romp through the jungle, snorkel, paraglide and surf as they contend with the mysterious appearance of the “Wiki Tiki” and try to solve the mystery before the volcano erupts.

Lego Hero Factory (Canadian Premiere)
Wednesday, October 20 at 8 p.m. ET/PT
At the Hero Factory, the most advanced and skilled Heroes in the universe are built to serve one function – save the world from evil. As Alpha team leader Stormer and his crew work together on various missions, they start to realize that the bad guys they are fighting are working for someone from Stormer’s past with an evil agenda to take down the Hero Factory and Stormer himself.

Monsters vs. Aliens: Mutant Pumpkins from Outer Space (Canadian Premiere)

After the events of Monsters vs. Aliens, Susan Murphy and the Monsters are now working with the U.S. Government as alien-busting troubleshooters. When their Halloween plans are derailed by an urgent assignment, the team must face off against an entire field of mutant pumpkins in order to save the world. Starring Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Hugh Laurie and Kiefer Sutherland.

My Babysitter’s a Vampire (Encore Presentation)
Thursday, October 21 at 7 p.m. ET/PT
Directed by Bruce McDonald, My Babysitter’s A Vampire is TELETOON’s first live-action feature film. It tells the story of Ethan Mason, an overly curious 13 year-old whose parents punish by hiring a babysitter. But not only is his new babysitter a hot sophomore who is way out of Ethan’s league, she also happens to be a blood sucking creature of the night. Starring Matthew Knight, Vanessa Morgan, Atticus Mitchell and Cameron Kennedy.

The Mystery Inc. crew travels the globe on a transcontinental treasure hunt to solve a series of ancient riddles. They’re racing against the vengeful Black Samurai and his spectral Ghost Warriors to claim the ancient Sword of Fate, a blade fabled to possess amazing powers.

Scooby-Doo and the Monster of Mexico (Encore Presentation)
Tuesday, October 26 at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT
The sleuths take a well-earned vacation to visit a friend in Mexico and celebrate the Day of the Dead (Mexico’s version of Halloween). But there’s trouble in the town of Veracruz, where tourists are being frightened away by a terrifying creature, the Chupacabra, which is 10 feet tall, with huge, green-glowing eyes.

When the trio finally meets Miss Grimwood and her young charges, they find that this isn’t a school for girls at all – it’s a school for ghouls.

Halloween is Shrek’s favorite holiday – and this year he’s planning a night of frights, ogre style. Instead of the usual tricks or treats, Shrek ups the ante and challenges Fiona, Donkey, Puss in Boots and the other fairy tale characters to spend the night in Lord Farquaad’s haunted castle telling scary stories. One by one, they compete through the night, putting their own fairytale spin on infamous spine-tingling tales that everyone knows and loves in this half-hour animated special.
