Layer 7 To Showcase New Product Suite At Oracle OpenWorld

layer7 technologiesVancouver’s Layer 7 Technologies, a leader in security and governance for cloud and SOA services, will showcase its industry-first Oracle Service Bus (OSB) Appliance and new CloudSpan™ product suite at Oracle OpenWorld in San Francisco on September 20-22. Layer 7 will be a featured guest in premier sponsor CSC’s pavilion, located at 1101 Moscone South.

Show attendees can participate in a showcase of the OSB appliance and view how it extends the Oracle Service Bus into the DMZ, and see how the CloudSpan solution simplifies integration to the cloud, secures applications in the cloud and governs the publication of APIs from the cloud.

The Layer 7 OSB Appliance combines the industry-leading XML security gateway and simplified deployment of Layer 7’s SecureSpan XML Gateway™, the performance and reliability of Sun servers, and the messaging, connectivity and virtualization versatility of the Oracle Service Bus. Delivered as a single, preconfigured appliance, the integration of an XML Gateway with an embedded OSB gives enterprises an expanded range of options around how and where they deploy an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).

The Layer 7 CloudSpan cloud connectivity and security suite removes critical adoption barriers for cloud consumers and providers wanting to access cloud services more easily, run applications safely in the cloud or publish APIs and programmatic services to clients, partners and developers. Consisting of three products — CloudConnect, CloudProtect and CloudControl products – CloudSpan helps enterprises and service providers at each stage of their cloud adoption curve, from consuming SaaS services, to running applications securely in the cloud, to becoming a provider of cloud and SaaS services, to monetizing services and creating closer customer relationships through managed API publications.
