YTV And Hasbro Partner For Camp Nerf

YTV [1] TorontoCorus Television [2] is partnering with Hasbro Canada [3] to give kids the chance to be the first to test new NERF products. Going live on March 2, YTV.com [4] will connect viewers to CampNERF.ca [5], which showcases the latest in NERF gear and contests. Online games can be found on the website’s Elite Gaming Area as well as its four Camp Nerf [6]Training Zones. Other areas of Camp NERF include the Contest Bunker, the Mess Hall for the latest news and camp communications and the Outfitter Tent for all retail information. To top it all off, kids will also be able to play and interact with NERF this summer with YTV’s annual WOW cross-country tour.

Camp NERF is an online destination where kids are introduced to the world of NERF through various Camp Counsellors, all of whom hold different areas of expertise. Participants can also collect and earn NERF badges when they complete a game or finish their online training as part of their experience at CampNERF.ca [5].

Launching on Monday March 2, Camp NERF will be giving kids the chance to be the first to check out new NERF Swords and train for the NERF Swords Courage Badge. Training consists of an online game found in the NERF Swords Training Zone. Other areas available upon launch include the Mess Hall, Elite Gaming Area and the Contest Bunker where kids will be eligible to win new NERF Swords products.

Launch of the NERF DART TAG Training Zone in May will add these other exciting opportunities: Capture the Flag, a new contest in the Contest Bunker and the unveiling of The Outfitter Tent where kids can check out retail information.

Beginning June 6 at the Union Village Festival, YTV’s annual WOW tour will hit the road, bringing NERF fun to hometowns across Canada. After months of training to be NERF Operatives at YTV.com, kids can put their online skills into real-life action when they get to test NERF DART TAG products live at WOW locations. On site, the WOW crew will also be distributing collectible prizes from NERF to all NERF Operatives. WOW will also be supported by YTV’s popular after-school block, The Zone [7] hosted by Carlos.

But wait, that’s not all! The Action Blaster Training Zone will launch on November 2 and will also be supported with a new contest in the online Contest Bunker.
